James Graff (aka graffjamie or jamie or me) singing and playing "Froze (Stone Cold)" a hard rock, heavy metal song written, sang, engineered, produced, mixed, mastered all by James Graff who also played every instrument on the track.

Another song idea demo that I recorded by myself in my basement on a Tascam 423 4 track cassette deck: I probably did the rhythm guitar first, then the drums (no click tracks on any of these), then KEYBOARD bass (I didn't have access to a bass at the time), then I sang onto tape and recorded a fifth track: LIVE lead guitar and just "took" the best version.
The guitar is probably my first electric - my Gretsch: two humbuckers, hard tail - into some distortion - either an MXR distortion (got stolen) or my friends Tube Screamer into my first amp: 1978 Fender Super Twin Reverb. The drumset was an old, beat up, red flame Ludwig set that we bought with money collected from basement/band party cover charge!

I edited the video on my laptop (I know it could all be SO much better!).

FROZE STONE COLD

The flames of desire
Couldn't get no hire
When you doused them with a touch
of your cold hand
Chilled by the warmth
of another man

Then like ice on a lake
My tears froze on my face
And your words like wind
chilled my ears
Like deep dark caverns
that echo all my fears

The touch of your cold lips
on my cheek
Chilled my hearts blood
and left me weak

And your love left me
FROZE STONE COLD
Your love left
my heart's blood
Chilled to the bone
When your love left
my heart
FROZE STONE COLD

I stood out in the cold of
the killing frost
Paid no attention
and I paid the cost
I feel your faithlessness
when I'm alone
Like an icicle dripping
from my spine
and into my bone

The north wind blew
the truth through my brain
My foggy delusion
fell like icy rain

And your love left me
FROZE STONE COLD
Your love left my hearts blood
Chilled to the bone
When your love left
my heart
FROZE STONE COLD
FROZE STONE COLD
Your love left
my heart's blood
Chilled to the bone
And trying to get love from my heart
Is like getting blood from a stone

My first girlfriend was the captain of the cheer leading squad and cheated on me with two football players - at the same time!! (Her name was Laura but her nickname became....of course...La-wh069-uh)
