It was composed by the band's guitarist Jimmy Page and vocalist Robert Plant for their untitled fourth studio album (usually called Led Zeppelin IV). The song is often regarded as the most popular rock song of all time.[3][4] "Stairway to Heaven" was voted number three in 2000 by VH1 on its list of the 100 Greatest Rock Songs,[6] and was placed at number 31 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. It was the most requested song on FM radio stations in the United States in the 1970s, despite never having been commercially released as a single there.[7] In November 2007, through download sales promoting Led Zeppelin's Mothership release, "Stairway to Heaven" reached number 37 on the UK Singles Chart.[8] Led Zeppelin began recording "Stairway to Heaven" in December 1970 at Island Records' new Basing Street Studios in London.[1] The song was completed by the addition of lyrics by Plant during the sessions for Led Zeppelin IV at Headley Grange, Hampshire, in 1971.[2] Page then returned to Island Studios to record his guitar solo.[7] The song originated in 1970 when Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were spending time at Bron-Yr-Aur, a remote cottage in Wales, following Led Zeppelin's fifth American concert tour. According to Page, he wrote the music "over a long period, the first part coming at Bron-Yr-Aur one night".[9] Page always kept a cassette recorder around, and the idea for "Stairway to Heaven" came together from bits of taped music.[10] The first attempts at lyrics, written by Robert Plant next to an evening log fire at Headley Grange, were partly spontaneously improvised and Page claimed, "a huge percentage of the lyrics were written there and then".[10] Jimmy Page was strumming the chords, and Robert Plant had a pencil and paper. The complete studio recording was released on Led Zeppelin IV in November 1971. The band's record label, Atlantic Records, wanted to issue it as a single, but the band's manager Peter Grant refused requests to do so in both 1972 and 1973. This led many people to buy the fourth album as if it were the single. Spirit copyright infringement lawsuit Page's opening acoustic guitar arpeggios bear a resemblance to the 1968 instrumental "Taurus" by the Los Angeles-based rock band Spirit, written by Spirit guitarist Randy California.[9][33] In the liner notes to the 1996 reissue of Spirit's self-titled debut album, California wrote: "People always ask me why 'Stairway to Heaven' sounds exactly like 'Taurus,' which was released two years earlier. I know Led Zeppelin also played 'Fresh Garbage' in their live set. They opened up for us on their first American tour."[34][35] Certifications Region Certification Certified units/sales Italy (FIMI)[83] 2× Platinum 100,000double-dagger United Kingdom (BPI)[84] Platinum 600,000double-dagger double-dagger Sales+streaming figures based on certification alone. Is using your home for collateral on a loan a good idea? James H. Graff...

Well before you think about refinancing, take out a second mortgage, or a home equity loan, consider your options. 732.500.6883 JGraff.AdvisorsMortgage.com Talk to an attorney or financial adviser before making any decisions about borrowing money using your home as collateral. High interest rates and credit card costs can make it very expensive to borrow money and loan costs can vary greatly, so it's in your best interest to research what types of loans you would qualify for. Most creditors will give you a written good faith estimate showing the charges and fees you would pay at closing, the monthly payment, the annual percentage rate and other loan items. This helps you compare various loan options. Keep in mind if you use your home for collateral on a loan and can't make the payments in the future, you could lose your home as well as any equity you might have built up. So make sure you can afford the loan before making a decision. https://958.prequalifyme.today for no SS#/hassle/obligation help FREE Real Estate tips: http://RealEstateWithAdvisorsJG.com FREE Guides: Home Buying-https://bit.ly/33UTW2K Home Selling-https://bit.ly/3mTvLuv FREE “INSTANT” HOME VALUE: http://HomeValuesWithAdvisorsJG.com PREQUALIFY for loan: https://bit.ly/2GuyvgQ APPLY for loan: https://bit.ly/2HH6cwi 732-500-6883 https://JGraff.AdvisorsMortgage.com/c... https://facebook.com/nmls1974758 FREE MORTGAGE CALCULATORS: https://JGraff.AdvisorsMortgage.com/c... Sweet Baby James cover James Taylor tribute James Graff Takamine 12 string

"Sweet Baby James" is a song written and recorded by James Taylor that serves as the opening and title track from his 1970 breakthrough album Sweet Baby James. Taylor considers it his best song. Now the First of December was covered with snow And so was the Turnpike from Stockbridge to Boston Lord, the Berkshires seemed dream-like on account of that frostin' With ten miles behind me and ten thousand more to go The song is composed as a waltz, in 3/4 time. The chorus echoes the lullaby sentiment, with a reference to "Rock-a-bye Baby". "Sweet Baby James" was included on Taylor's diamond-selling Greatest Hits 1976 compilation. Invariably, the second verse mentions of the Massachusetts Turnpike, Stockbridge, The Berkshires, and Boston bring cheers from people in the audience who had lived in Massachusetts...concert in Tanglewood or Great Woods... He performed the song as part of his set on the first episode of Saturday Night Live's second season, which aired 1976. 15 years later, Taylor performed the song again on the Christmas episode of Saturday Night Live 1991. In the "Four Together" benefit concert arranged by Harry Chapin in 1977, John Denver sang the harmony part of the chorus on this song. Jay Leno requested Taylor's live performance of the song on his final The Tonight Show... Taylor performed the song when campaigning for Deval Patrick's re-election... Tom Rush, who made a practice of recording material from the best new singer songwriters of the era, put it on his October 1970 album Wrong End of the Rainbow. The Seldom Scene added harmony on their bluegrass version, released on their debut album Act 1 in 1972. Highway 101 closed their 1989 album Paint the Town with it. Daniel Greaves of The Watchmen often performs it a cappella during concerts. The song is sung by Hank Heywood (Thomas F. Wilson) in the season four episode "Tender Is the Nate" of Legends of Tomorrow, to lull a minotaur to sleep. It is later reprised in the season finale "Hey, World!" as "Sweet Baby Nate" to inspire enough love to revive the deceased Nate Heywood. Browne, D. . Fire and Rain. Da Capo. White, T. Buyer responsibilities during the lending process (mortgage application)...

When applying for a mortgage, everyone wants the process to be as seamless as possible. 732.500.6883 https://JGraff.AdvisorsMortgage.com As a borrower, your biggest responsibilities are to be honest and to provide all the information your lender requires in a timely fashion. Never overstate your income or how long you have been employed. Never overstate your assets and accurately report all of your debts. Don't make any changes to the income tax returns you provide to the lender. If you are using gift money for all or part of your down payment, get the donor to write to your lender to make it clear the money was a gift and not a loan. Don't list any fake co-borrowers on your loan application. Be truthful about any and all credit problems, past and present. Be honest about your intention to occupy the home. Never provide any false supporting documents. It is not unusual for lender to ask for more information once a loan application has been submitted. The sooner you provide the additional information, the faster your application will be processed. #mortgage #loans #loan #homeloan #mortgages #credit #mortgagebroker #realestate #money #finance #mortgageapplication #documents #giftletter #coborrowers #buyingahome #buyingahouse #buyahome #buyahouse #debt #tax

How large a down payment do you need?

How large a down payment do you need? 732.500.6883 JGraff.AdvisorsMortgage.com There are mortgage options now available that only require a down payment of 5% or less of the purchase price. But the larger the down payment the less you have to borrow and the more equity you will have. Mortgages with a down payment lower than 20% generally require a mortgage insurance policy to secure the loan. When considering the size of your downtown, consider that you will also need money for closing costs, moving expenses, and possibly repairs and decorating.
